The Presbyterian Village Foundation was incorporated in 1985 to further the mission of The Presbyterian Village, to provide financial support for those residents unable to pay the total cost of their care and to assist in general operations by soliciting charitable contributions for The Presbyterian Village.
WAYS TO GIVE
Gifts of Cash, Securities or Personal Property are a quick & easy way to donate. You can take advantage of our 501(c) (3) status by claiming your contribution on your taxes. This also may be a way to avoid any capital gains tax.
Memorial Gifts & Tribute Gifts are a special way to honor a loved one, friend, co-worker's life or to recognize a staff member or department at The Presbyterian Village. Other gift options include celebrating a special birthday or anniversary. A gift of any type or size is welcome. Unlike flowers or a card, a contribution to The Presbyterian Village Foundation is a lasting way to remember or pay tribute to that special person.
Planned Giving options are another way for you to eliminate taxes or benefit from an increased income stream while supporting the mission of The Presbyterian Village. A Bequest in your will or estate plan is a significant way to remember The Presbyterian Village and will positively impact the care provided here for years to come. Making The Presbyterian Village Foundation a beneficiary in your Life Insurance is a great way to make a substantial contribution without disturbing other assets. There may be some very attractive tax advantages to making The Presbyterian Village Foundation a secondary beneficiary of your Retirement Assets. And there are various forms of Trusts that could allow you to make a significant gift to The Presbyterian Village Foundation while increasing or retaining your retirement income.
Gifts may be designated by the donor if the restriction helps fulfill the mission of The Presbyterian Village and is consistent with current or upcoming needs of the organization. Current designated funds include our Aviary Fund which supports the routine maintenance & upkeep of our aviaries; our Building Fund which funds our building projects and our Charity Care Fund which goes toward meeting the charitable needs generated by the residents who are unable to pay the total cost of their care. Or you may want to designate your gift to something on our current wish list which includes the various wants & needs we have as a facility. Copies of our wish list are available.
